At Santa Cruz, the new villa on
April 10, 1751, before me, Captain Juan Jose Lovato, appeared Manuel Montolla
(Montoya), that he remain as executor for his mother-in-law Magdalena Martin,
and this woman having sold to Pedro Baptista the two pieces of land bought from
Juan Antonio Lopez and from Ambrocio Barbansi as the preceding writing makes
evident and agreed to by Simon Baca, husband of the said deceased and that he
is not having given him the sale of it and the said Montolla delaying to give
it, he consented to it. The deceased had
received from the said Baptista the amount of 80 pesos to her full satisfaction.

Magdalena Martin married Simon
Baca, she died on May 6, 1744, Santa Cruz, New Mexico; the daughter of Luis
Martin Serrano and Melchora de los Reyes Gonzales. Manuel Montoya the
son-in-law married the daughter named Maria Rosa Baca. Manuel Montoya is the son of Clemente Montoya
and Josefa Herrera.
