Pojoaque Burials & Marriages 1812

1812 Burials

On February 1, 1812, buried Maria Ysabel Padilla, Indian.

On September 8, 1812, at Nambe, buried Maria Thomasa de Aquino, parvula, six months old, legitimate daughter of Josef Miguel Baldes and Maria de la Soledad Romero, vecinos of Pojoaque.

On September 29, 1812, buried Francisco Estevan, parvulo, five years old, son of Josef Domingo Montoya and Chatarina Trugillo, Indians of this pueblo.

On October 7, 1812, buried Josef Pablo, parvulo, one year old, legitimate son of Pedro Rafael Trujillo and Maria de Jesus Martin.

On October 4, 1812, buried Juan Christobal, parvulo, one year old, legitimate son of Manuel Antonio Sanchez and Chatarina, Indians of this pueblo.

On October 14, 1812, buried Pasquala, one year old, parvula, legitimate daughter of Antonio Maria and Joana Maria, Indians of said pueblo.

On November 11, 1812, buried Maria de la Asension, parvula, six months old, legitimate daughter of Josef Miguel Garduño and Manuela Archuleta, vecinos of Pojoaque.  (337)

1812 Marriages

On January 4, 1812, married Jose Mathias, son of Ygnacio, deceased and Encarnacion of Pojoaque, with Francisca daughter of Juan, Indian and ___, deceased from the same pueblo; wit/ el fiscal.

On this same day, married Jose son of Manuel and Rosa with Encarnacion, daughter of Juanetillo and Juana of the Pojoaque Pueblo; wit/ el fiscal.

On January 30, 1812, married Jose, widower and native of Sandia, with Manuela, widow of the same pueblo; wit/ fiscales.  (46)

On 11th of the same month and year, married and veiled Jose Miguel, son of Juan Domingo Garduño, deceased and Maria Concepcion Garamillo, vecinos of the plaza of Nuestra Señora de Chimayo, with Maria Manuela, daughter of Christobal Marcelino (Archuleta) and Antonia Josefa Gallegos, vecinos of Cuyamunge, all españoles; wit/ Antonio Quintana and Maria Dorotea Espinosa, his wife.

On August 13, 1812, married Jose Antonio Espinosa, widower of Rosa Medina, with Paula Grule, widow of Bartolo Trujillo; wit/ Christobal Archuleta and Francisco Quintana, vecinos of Cuyamungue. *Note:  From Sandia Marriages:  On June 24, 1780 - Bartholome Trujillo, of Alameda, with Maria Paula Gurule. On September 8, 1812, married and veiled Andres Romero, single legitimate son of Mathias Romero, deceased and Manuela Ruybal with Maria Josefa Archuleta, single legitimate daughter of Josef Christobal Archuleta and Maria Antonia Baldes; wit/ Manuel Marquez, Juan Christobal Archuleta, Juan Christobal Trugillo and Juan Trugillo.
